I am thrilled to announce, as I said in the video above, that the new creative team for The Last Ember, starting with the very next issue, is the team of Federico Sabbatini and Andrea Celestini!
This variant cover (above) was illustrated by them, you may recall. They are also the team behind Bigs & Tiny from Black Box Comics, and separately they've worked for Aspen, Zenescope and more!
We're very excited to be working with them on The Last Ember going forward!
Digitopia
My friend Farhan Qureshi has about a week to go on his latest campaign, Digitopia 1 + 2. It's a pre-apocalyptic adventure comic that sees characters Jay and Libra being hunted down by the army, by bounty hunters and by a civilization that is imploding on itself. The story taps into current culture a bit and places it in a fictional, exaggerated world the likes of The Running Man or The Matrix. Go check it out here:

Here we are in the final hours of this campaign, and I continue to be blown away by your support!

Now, here's what's happening in these final 10 hours or so.
CHAT AND DRAW
Tonight at 10pm ET I will be on Short Fuse Media's/Michael Watson's Chat and Draw talking about the Kickstarter while Mike draws! Should be a fun time. Mike and I go way back, about 12 years, and it's always a fun time when we get together.
I believe you can watch it live via FACEBOOK WATCH or via SHORT FUSE'S VIDEOS. I'll update the post with a direct link when I have it.
NEW SECRET STRETCH GOALS!
We reached two big milestones last night and this morning.
Reached 150 Backers!
Reached $3,000 in Funding!
One of those, reaching 150 backers, I am celebrating with a brand new stretch goal to be revealed later.
I was going to add another one at $3,000, but after much deliberation, I decided instead to add one at $3,300. So should we reach that amount, the final stretch goal will be unlocked!
AFTER MIDNIGHT
Once the campaign officially ends, I'll be posting a wrap-up post, either tonight or first thing in the morning. This post will entail what comes next!
After the campaign, I will keep you updated every step of the way, all the while sharing some other cool news or projects with you.

Hey all!
This has been a FANTASTIC campaign so far. Thank you all for the comments, it's been fun chatting with you, learning where you're from and so forth!
The campaign ends next Thursday, June 25th, so only 7 DAYS left! I'm excited to see how far we can go with this, and I know you are too!

Some of you have asked about add-ons. I was holding off to figure out if I wanted to do them during or at the end of the campaign. But I think I'm going to go ahead and put them up during.
I have some stuff planned for the add-ons, including items requested. But I want to hear from YOU what you might be interested in? Be it some of our other books, other items like prints, buttons, etc., upgrades, what have you. Let me know in the comments below!

I just drove back home from San Antonio this morning, about a five hour drive, and crashed as soon as I hit the door. I woke up to discover that we had in fact unlocked ourTHIRD stretch goal! So...

That was a very pleasant surprise to wake up to. Now the coaster featuring Ember will be added to ALL physical level pledges!
If we're fortunate enough to hit the next one, all backers at $35+ will get a signed bookplate!

This is one I've personally been waiting for since it was announced! Writer Charlie Stickney (White Ash) is someone I've just recently started getting to know and has been a great supporter of mine since. Plus the guy writes a pretty cool comic, right? So he's the writer of this new book from Immortal Studios that kicks off their shared universe. Great art, martial arts, a story of growth and transformation... I'll let the blurb speak for itself:
